Sister Sparrow And The Dirty Birds

We stumbled upon this band late one Saturday night on the Lower East Side and 3 weeks later we had a record. It was so refreshing to see a group of musicians having such fun playing their songs, and their passion is contagious. This nine piece band comes across as one big family and their unrelenting energy makes everyone in the room dance. Charasmatic and charming front woman/ principal songwriter, Arleigh Kincheloe draws influences from Aretha Franklin, Bonnie Rait, Sly And The Family Stone and Otis Redding to name a few. Check this band out, they will remind you why you love live music.
